The Bible Study Completely Changed My Outlook on Life

Right before graduating from High School, I met Faith in Action Bible Study group and has completely changed my outlook on life, religion, and my physical and spiritual well being in every aspect.

Being 17 years old, one can really have a lot of plans for the future, but the question is are those plans what God has in store for you or wants for you. Coming from a Catholic background, I never really had a keen interest in religion or spiritual aspects, just really being concerned with my physical life in the present and future. I would have deep curiosities here and there but were very limited. One of those curiosities was how could all human beings on this earth definitely know the correct way to live if there are so many people in this world preaching one thing here and another over there. How could we hear God's voice and guidance in our life? I mean, the sermon could sound amazing, but was this something God was really saying? Ultimately that's what really matters, right? Not what people want or think but what God wants and thinks. I just was never fully convinced every person I have ever heard was God himself telling me this.

It wasn’t until I started learning the Bible lessons from Faith in Action, that for the first time in my life, I knew without a doubt God was speaking to me. Through surreal dreams, and topics covered in the lessons, I absolutely felt God speaking to me, and it was a feeling of happiness, excitement and thankfulness I cannot describe with words. I learned and realized the depths of religious history and how everything in the past of religious history led to how God is even making history today. I discovered a whole new side of myself and know that there is a very profound purpose of my Creation. This discovery alone has allowed me to become someone who relies only on God's word and love to guide me in my life until this day.

For the past 11 years, I have been involved and supported faith and action because of how much God has worked through this group to touch every part of my heart and allowed me to transform to a person who strives to live for eternal things.
