Seize the opportunity you are given!

Have you heard of this saying? - "Opportunities belong to those who are prepared." Sounds pretty good, doesn't it? Let me make it even more real for you.

Let's say your friend is throwing you a baseball from across the field. The chances of you catching the ball increase if you have been ready with your glove. On the other hand, if you are not paying attention when the ball is thrown to you, the chances are that you will not catch the ball. Or say that you catch the ball with your bare hands, it's going to hurt.

Whether we succeed in life depends on how good we are in catching the opportunities that come our way every day. Yes, believe it or not, opportunities do come every day. Every day, we have an opportunity to learn. Every day, we have an opportunity to grow. Every day, we have an opportunity to shine. Every day is a new day. Every day is full of endless possibilities.

So, you may wonder, "How do I make sure opportunities don't pass me by, then? I feel like other people are always getting what they wanted, but I am never that lucky!" Sounds familiar? Yeah, the truth is, this is how most people feel. But, when being asked what they had done differently to set themselves apart from the others, those who are successful have one thing in common - they do everything in life ahead of time. They wake up early, they meditate and plan out their day, and then they carry on their day executing that plan.

Simply put, if you do not do things ahead of time, even things that would have worked out will not work out. On the other hand, if you do things ahead of time, even things that would not have worked out will work out, and you will succeed.

Let’s say that you are running a 100 meter race.

You have to be ready and prepare ahead of time, and then immediately start dashing toward the finish line as soon as you hear the gun sound. This is so important that it will determine whether you will win or lose. Even the most talented athletes will be unable to show their true abilities if they do not practice and prepare ahead of time.

God is rooting for us to succeed, in our individual area. After all, we are all created in His image and likeness. So, believe that God will never stop throwing opportunities at us, but it is up to us on how much and how well we catch each one of them. Always anticipate. Always have hope. Doing things ahead of time determines your fate like this.

By now, I trust that you have a few things that crossed your mind about what you can or should start doing/preparing ahead of time while you are reading this blog. Let's jot them down quickly before these inspirations from God disappear, and you will be on your way to succeed in no time!

Prayer for our readers:

We pray that you will do things ahead of time when it comes to mind, pray every day to receive the blessing of doing things ahead of time, and do things ahead of time when the Holy Spirit gives you inspiration.
