Ahh~ A fresh Chick-Fil-a sandwich, hot waffle fries~ Mmmmmm~ Also, GREAT customer service! No, I don’t work for them, but I know when I’m hungry, I can always count on them for a good, quick bite and a smile^^ But when that Chick-Fil-a down the road closes down and the nearest location is now an hour away, only then do you realize how precious that Chick-Fil-a location was to you!
That is one of the many vices of human beings: When there is an abundance, we lose the value. We do that even to God! Isn’t it shocking?
Think about the things that God does for us every day. God speaks to us and teaches us through the Word, through people, through nature and inspiration. He sees us through difficult times and is always with us. Do we even realize the scale at which God is working, not only in our lives, but in the whole world? It’s tremendous!
He has watched over us and protected us, not letting even a single hair on our heads be harmed. Think about all those close calls you had! If God had not been there for us just ONE time, it would have been the end for us!
So, what should we do when we realize how much God has loved us and protected us all our lives? We give thanks! Praise Him! Love Him! Give glory to Him! And pass on our realizations for others to also experience His love! Don’t you think this will bring God so much joy and happiness that He will want to be with you even more?
God is like that Chick-Fil-a nearby, who is always providing. Let’s always remind ourselves of God’s love and protection so we don’t take them for granted. Express our thanksgiving in all ways. Be creative! We can put a big smile on His face, just as how He has done so for us all the days in our lives!
